ACMS Summer Reading Invitation

Who: ACMS Students

What: Summer Reading with Mrs. Hawkins, ACMS librarian

When: Summer 2017

Where: Your computer and/or the public library

Why: Every summer one of my goals is to read all the William Allen White books for each school year.  But, if I don’t have anyone to read and discuss with, it will be boring.  So I’m inviting you to join me in reading and discussing your thoughts on each of these books.

Plus, you will be invited to a pizza party for reading at least 5 of the William Allen White books you read over the summer and during the 2017-18 school year, so you’ll be ahead of the curve!

How:  Go to your Google account to the Google classroom app.  group access code : nr92hf

You will be able to respond on Google Classroom by joining the group.  Just use the access code to join the group. The 2017-2018 William Allen White book list is posted as well.  Once you have read a book from the W.A.W. list, please write a review of the book. This should include the title, genre, your favorite part, something you would add or change, a character you thought was interesting and why, and a rating. Should others read this book too?   OR  just  Email me at hawkinsh@usd385.org with your response about the book you have read.
