Biography

I have been teaching for 29 years and this will be by 18th year in Andover. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Tabor College and a Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Emporia State University. I have a strong passion for teaching students through technology, reading, writing, speaking and listening. I enjoy watching students learn and discover their hidden talents. Some of my hobbies are reading, digital scrapbooking and photography. I am happily married to my husband, Mike and we have four wonderful children: Grant, Danielle, Scott and Joel. I look forward to working with your student and having the best year possible.

Procedures for Makeup Assignments

Due to the hands on nature of the course, make up work will typically need to be scheduled with Mrs. Ehrstein upon your return to class.  It is not always possible to send work home, so you may need to schedule tutoring to make up what you have missed during class.

Please email me if you have any specific information that would help your child be more successful in class.  My email address is ehrsteic@usd385.org, or feel free to call between 7:30-7:45 am or after 3:00 pm.
