On Friday, our 6th graders wrapped their Ancient Greece unit with the Olympics.  Students got a chance to dress up in city-state colors (some even had t-shirts made) and cheer on each other as they competed in pod-friendly Olympic style games.  Students enjoyed throwing the javelin (pool noodles), discus (tortillas), and our own marathon (a speed walk around the loop).  It was a fun way to finish up the unit!
