Hello! My name is Leslianne Craft. I am so excited to be the principal at Andover Central Middle School. I have been a head middle school principal in USD 259 for the past four years. Prior to that, I was a middle school assistant principal for six years. I have also served as an MTSS facilitator and taught middle school math for five years.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education and a middle school math endorsement from Wichita State University. I earned a Master of Arts in school leadership from Baker University. I received the Teacher of Promise Award in 2004 and the Kansas Horizon Award in 2006. I am a five-time USD 259 Good Apple Award winner and was the Wichita State University Cooperative Education Employer of the Year finalist in 2013.
I have two children and three grandchildren. My son Braedon is married to Haley. They have Joanna (5 years old), Samuel (18 months old), and Charlotte (6 months old). My daughter Audrey is engaged to be married to Robert on October 8, 2021. I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my children and grandchildren. We are a close family and live within a few miles from each other in Wichita. When I am not spending time with my family, I enjoy gardening, watching sports, and doing puzzles.
I look forward to serving the Andover Central community and am excited to meet you soon.
